Favorite Activity

My favorite activity this semester was the story called Lamb to the Slaughter it is about a pregnant wife that kills her police chief husband in the 1950`s . I liked it because it was kinda a little bit of a story of scandal and murder which are to things I love in a story . In the story the husband tells his six month pregnant wife that he is leaving her without a reason but he tells her that she will always be taken care of. After that she tries to act normal but it starts to feel surreal when her husband tells her he doesn't want her to fix him any supper so she strikes him from behind with the lamb leg that she was fixing him . It kills him instantly and she must set up an alibi and worries if she gets caught what will happen to her unborn baby if she goes to prison . She has the police feeling sorry for her and believing her and in the end they eat the weapon without even knowing it .

Monsters on Maple street

The person that I think is the most unreasonable about what is happening to them is the women because she right off starts pointing fingers at anyone that she can think of . She thought just because that Mr. Goodman cant sleep at night and goes and looks at the stars to help him try to sleep that he is trying to talk to aliens from outer space . She just made things bad for the Goodmans just because she didn't want to look bad herself .
